| My art style is strongly influenced by the rich colors and fresh brushwork of the Impressionists; and by the sinuous linework and colors of Art Nouveau artists like Alphonse Mucha and Maxfield Parrish. I enjoy illustrating many subjects, especially the figure and fantasy themes. I work in watercolor and watercolor over ink drawings; in acrylic on canvas with brushes and airbrush; and upon occasion, I do black and white line art for publication. I am a member of the Poulsbo Art League, and often participate in league art shows, as well as gallery shows locally in Washington state. And finally, I do work for publication: book illustration, art cards, prints and other applications. |

| Current and Upcoming Show Locations
Jak's Cafe - Display of artwork has been extended through February 2010. Central Market Art Show - New show scheduled for spring of 2010 in connection with the Poulsbo Art League at Central Market in Poulsbo - April 8 to April 11. Poulsbo Art Festival - The Poulsbo Art League will have a booth at the Art Festival in Poulsbo at the waterfront park. More information to come. |
